Just had 3 nights in this hotel with my son . Girl at reception called Becky.Was so helpful and very pleasant. And very helpful with lots of information and knowledge of what to do and how to get discounts on visits to attractions.Food was lovely.drinks were cheap and the rooms were well stocked, tea ,coffee shampoo soap and towels changed every day.Met the boss and he was very nice too ,bar staff at night made my son feel at ease.good all round family hotel.Value for money
The hotel is very good in all aspects.From service point of view and cleanliness .The staff was very courteous and happy to welcome us.The room was neat and clean, decor was nice and matching. Over all my stay was very pleasant and would highly recommend to any one . I intend to come back soon.
Stayed here at end of August we were a walk in as hotel we had booked was awful. Lovely gentleman greeted us and showed us the room then helped with our luggage. The room was very clean and comfy and the bar was also good. Good value for money and like home from home. Will deffo be back.
My wife and love the Athol so much, this current stay must be about our 20th. The position is perfect. Turn right for central pier and Tower, left for south pier and pleasure beach. Straight across the road and you will be in the sea. Remember that it is a family owned and run hotel, and that family are thoroughly lovely and decent. Food is always amazing. Any problems, just tell them. Be back next month. Unfortunately this hotel has now changed hands so please disregard my review.
Lovely friendly receptionist. Had a bad experience with the people above us. Not down to the hotel itself. Staying an extra night free of charge. Would definitely come e back again
Walked in on spec and received a warm welcome. Room clean and adequate for our needs. We didn't have the breakfast but it smelled great. Would definitely stay again
Excellent staff, lovely hotel. Situated in a perfect location with lots around! Plenty of parking out the front and staff were more than accommodating.
Love this place we come here every yr and the owners are so welcoming its great that the beach is just across the rd from the hotel and and everything is within walking distance ,there prices are amazing ,great value for money,I would recommend hotel Athol,me and my 3 kid's love coming here,and look forward to being here again August 2016 :)
